Our Values

Values are what we care about. As such, values should be the driving force for our decision making.

I aim to create value through the effective management of resources and relationships.

This is performed in accordance with my core values of being humble, empathetic, authentic, refined, and transparent (HEART).

These values reveal everything I care about– they help me make Poesia special through the products and services I offer to my customers in Australia and internationally.

Here is a brief description of my values:

Humble: The ability to understand one’s strengths and weaknesses. This suggests that to be humble involves the willingness to learn from the achievements of others. The consequences are mutual empowerment, appreciation of others, partnerships and continuous learning and development.

Empathy: The expression of emotional support of someone’s situation and the willingness to care about the situation through a combination of words and actions.

Authenticity: The consistency between the inner self and the public self. A person is authentic when his or her actions are in sync with their morals and values. Our brand is authentic to the extent that ‘it does what it preaches’.

Refinement: Sustainably high-end products designed to give a superior customer experience while also creating a fairer and sustainable world.

Transparency: Demonstrating ethical behaviour and environmental standards in action, visible to all.

In conclusion, my value-focused thinking helps me to develop an enduring set of guiding principles leading to more desirable outcomes in my personal and professional life.
