Our specially selected Poesia candles have been designed using only the highest quality soy blend wax and leading aromatic ingredients. The wick is made from cotton to ensure a clean burn and an even scent throw. Poesia is committed to ethical leadership and sustainable practices, processes, and policies, which means doing business responsibly and having a trust relationship with stakeholders.

We encourage waste reduction and resource efficiency to have a positive impact on the environment and, ultimately, on our own business. Poesia candles are plastic free, and no tests are performed on animals.
Our candle collection is based on storytelling and was created to capture memories, places, emotions, and experiences – making each scent a personal story. All scents have been developed and tailored based on our creative brief by fragrance experts within the industry specifically for Poesia.
Poesia means poetry in Italian and each scented candle comes with a different poem that is evocative, metaphorical, enlivening, and meaningful. Poesia candles are intense, appetizing, and completely distinctive.

A warm and radiant scent from the heart.
Like love itself, this multifaceted scent unfolds over time, slowly revealing more of its nature. It opens with a twist of Amalfi lemon, as clear and energetic as the sharp intake of breath that accompanies the glimpse of an early crush. After this initial fizz of attraction, the warmth of the tonka bean slowly spreads, bringing a caramelised sweetness that’s as grounding as a tender caress. There’s a quiet intensity to the finished scent that – like true love – stands the test of time.
The story behind the scent
Nothing could prepare Sara Teasdale for the beauty of love – not nature or music or even the sunrise in her favourite Italian city. These fleeting moments capture that sharp zest of an Amalfi lemon but it’s only love that brings her comfort. Only amore, she writes in her collection, Love Songs, brings her to rest.
